What a delight to see Pitt Street and Pyrmont Bridge without the encumberment of the Monorail.

I started the anti-Monorail campaign with Andrew Kay because there was no transport justification for building it through the sensitive parts of the City. The majority of the demand was claimed to be between the Car parks in Darling Harbour and the City and this was not true.

Well its gone, but what about reusing the Pyrmont Bridge for Light Rail directly connecting Pyrmont to Market St - and maybe Bondi Beach?
