OUR COMMITMENT

Posted by Chris

CONTRIBUTION

We contribute to the life and economy of communities by interpreting the needs of users in the public realm, applying innovation where necessary and practical aesthetics in all cases.

COMMUNICATION

Listening to clients and agencies leads to a quick understanding of issues; and a depth of experience accurately identifies the scope of work and focuses effort.

INNOVATION

We are recognised for our innovative approach; the detail of kerb, 'reknitting' main rail lines, distributing freeway traffic through gardens, spatial layouts of new and extending Cities, and the three dimensional relationship of transport systems with physical and built surroundings.

RESEARCH

We are continually involved in a wide range of research; interpreting demand and the impact of new networks, the integration of transport modes and urban spaces, following the backdrop of decision making, producing guidelines; and, experimenting with traffic flow and accessibility modelling; all thanks to a dedicated network of contributors.

STAP is doing a lot of interesting work in 2013; preparing an analysis technique for Transit Lanes; evaluating a Metropolitan wide bus network for Sydney with an application on Western Sydney; investigating the principles of how a ‘Social Network’ becomes part of the local movement network; putting forward the case for a shared zone in the centre of Rhodes and introducing a ‘contemporary urban village’ [CUV] in the Gladesville Rd shopping centre, Hunters Hill.
